Make up Academy (Mua) Palettes & Lipsticks

Hey everyone, Today I'm going to be reviewing the Make Up Academy Palettes. Make up academy are a British Brand that have very cheap and very good quality products. From nail polishes at £1.00 to palettes at £5 the most expensive products I have ever seen from them was only £6. If you have a small budget but don't want to compromise the quality then I really recommend this brand. Make up Academy is a brand only available online or at Superdrug.

Make up Academy make really great palettes, my favourites are the neutral palettes such as: Heaven and Earth (See image), Undress Me & Undress Me 2. They are £4 each and come with 12 beautiful shades that apply beautifully and last a long time on the lids. They are mainly shimmery and satin finishes but not too sparkly. I love them as they are affordable and great value for money!

Make Up Academy also make really nice Matte Lipsticks, they are all beautiful colours and they have a huge range to choose from. They only £1 each and are a total bargain. Depending on your preference these lipsticks might your favourite on you might hate them. The formula is quite dry and thick and takes a bit of work to get on to the lips. Personally I think they are a bit waxy but the colours are nice. I normally mix them with some lipbalm and use them as a sheer colour over the lips.

I hope you enjoyed this review of the two most popular Mua products, and I will speak to you guys soon! Amy x

Baby Lips

Baby lips are a very popular lip product all over the world, They were released in the UK Last year and have been a huge success, but are they really worth the hype? Well scroll down to find out :)

Personally I don't think they should be called a lip balm, they are not very moisturising or nourishing for your lips. However they look great as a lip gloss or a sheer lip colour. There are 6 in the UK Collection at the minute: Pink Punch, Cherry Me, Peach Kiss (these three are tinted), Hydrate, Intense, and Mint Fresh (these 3 are clear). They are all supposed to be moisturising but I found them very drying on my Lips.

However if you layer them over a super moisturising Lip balm then you get the best of both worlds, A nice sheer colour with plenty of shine that moisturises your lips! I have to say they are fairly cheep, I think they are around £2.99 but they are normally on offer for 2 for £5.00. So they don't cost too much and are available at Superdrug, Boots and supermarkets like Tesco and ASDA. They now make a primer called Baby Skin, if you have tried this then let me know what you think :)

Monthly Favourites! April!

First Monthly favourites post Yay! I have always wanted to do one of these. My monthly favorites will be a mixture of things: Beauty, Fashion, You-tubers, Food etc. These are my opinion on products so please dont take offence or post rude comments :)

Benefits "It's Potent" Eye cream has got to be in my favourites this month, I have used it a lot. Sadly I inherited horrible dark circles and I always look like a zombie, but when I use this I honestly notice a difference. My under eye looks so much brighter and the skin more healthy! This is only the little pot which I got in my benefit travel skincare set. The full size is £24.50 which for me is just too much to spend on an eye cream when there are plenty of good ones in the drugstore. If this as cheaper I would definitely use it everyday because the results are amazing!

Urban Decays "Naked Basics" palette just had to be in this favuorites post. It is honestly one of the best neutral eye shadow palettes on the market. I use it every day and it is so multi-functional. I bought this last month and it was the best make up purchase I made, the light taupe colour "Naked 2" is the perfect shade for my brows, I lightly fill them in with it on an angled brush. It looks really natural and not drawn on at all. % of the shades are matte and the lightest has a slight shimmer to it which is nice for the inner corners to brighten up your eyes. It was £22 but I was willing to pay that for such a beautiful helpful palette.

Topshop Socks just have to be in this favourites. They are so cute and instantly add a girly touch to any outfit. I have 3 pairs, a grey, a pink and a baby blue. I love wearing them with converse as they are just adorable. They are really comfortable and soft as well, which is kind of what you expect from a sock! Not too much more i can say, they look cute and they keep your feet warm and cosy!

Zoella is one of my favourite Youtubers, she gives great advice and recommends some really great products. Her videos are about beauty but she also uploads collaborations with other Youtubers that always makes me laugh. She really makes me laugh and i love watching her videos.t

This Is a great photo of Tim, Tim is married to Lindy Tsang or ay m she is known on Youtube Bubzbeauty. They are an adorable couple and she does beauty videos as well. They are expecting a baby boy in September and the two of them are so adorable. I love watching them as they really make my day!
